1. What is the ImpactNetwork?
The ImpactNetwork is an exclusive compilation of select physicians (4000 across the entire nation) put together in longitudinal panel to participate in a national pharmaceutical research project. The data collection and market research input of ImpactNetwork physicians serve as a de facto think tank. The ImpactNetwork research project participants enjoy being sufficiently compensated for their time.
2. How did you get my name?
We obtain physician names from our clients who routinely call upon doctors across the country.
3. Why was I invited to participate?
Those physicians invited represent a highly visible group of physicians with regard to pharmaceutical promotions.
4. Can my peers or other physicians I know participate in this program?
The ImpactNetwork is an exclusive group of physicians. All ImpactNetwork physicians must meet a set of qualifying criteria in order to participate in the program. For this reason, physicians must be invited to join the ImpactNetwork. However, we are always looking for referrals. If you have a colleague who may be interested in participating, please click here.
5. What do you do with the data you collect?
ImpactNetwork physicians collect general information surrounding patient treatments and pharmaceutical company promotions. This information is presented in statistical format to our clients and is used solely by their management for guidance in making internal decisions.
6. What do I have to do to ensure I continue in the ImpactNetwork?
a) Collect non-identifying patient information according to the schedule established by the ImpactNetwork.
b) Record all interactions with the pharmaceutical sales representatives you see, every day, Monday - Friday.
c) Record all professional meetings and events you attend.
7. How long will I have to participate in the study?
Currently, members of the ImpactNetwork agree to an initial 12-month contract. Your contract will automatically renew every 12 months after your initial contract.
8. What if I want to cancel the contract?
Either you or the ImpactNetwork may elect at any time to terminate your participation in the program upon ten (10) days advance written notice to the other party. However, all equipment issued to you by the ImpactNetwork must be returned to us within seven (7) days of the written notification. The ImpactNetwork will pay for all equipment shipping.
9. Will the ImpactNetwork or anyone else know which patients participated in this study?
No. Identifying patient information is NOT included within the data collection.
10. I have my own equipment. Can I use that instead of your equipment and receive additional honoraria?
No.
